Terms + Conditions - (the ‘official’ bit)

The Party Leader named on the Invoice is responsible for themselves and each member of their party and must ensure that everyone in the party has read these Terms and Conditions..

  • A non-refundable deposit per room is to be paid at the time of booking or full payment if booking is made within 8 weeks of the holiday start date.

  • Full payment is to be made 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date.

  • If full payment is not received 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday we will take this to be a cancellation of your booking.

  • Special diets can only be catered for if we are informed of these at the time of booking.

  • All guests staying at Chalet Gove must have travel / holiday insurance and must have insurance that covers them for the activities they are going to participate in, for example not all ski insurance covers you for tobogganing or off-piste skiing.

  • All guests staying at Chalet Gove must have a valid in-date Global/European Health Insurance Card (G/EHIC), this will ensure you get immediate free initial treatment prior to using your health insurance, otherwise you will have to pay a minimum of €200 before treatment commences (this includes ambulance transport).

    Notes: 1) G/EHIC cards need to be renewed every 5 years. 2) It is a requirement of some travel / holiday insurances that you have an G/EHIC card.

  • Transport is included in our pricing for up to 8 people only. For parties of 9 or more the party leader will need to organise a hire car to transport the additional party members. Pricing will be amended to help pay for this.

  • We are able to transport one checked in bag and one piece of hand luggage per person when transporting 8 people. If you wish to bring additional luggage, please check with us at time of booking, to make sure we are able to fit it into the minibus.

  • Bedrooms are available from 4pm by the latest on day of arrival and are to be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

  • Smoking including electronic devices is not allowed in any part of Chalet Gove including the garden.

  • We ask that outdoor shoes are not worn inside, please bring a pair of slippers (we do have some you can borrow if you forget!).

  • Our service and reviews are based on us using local ski schools, activity and equipment providers which we have selected on the quality of service they provide and the fact that they work with us to provide the best for our guests.

  • Where transport is provided to and from an evening meal, the latest pick up time included in the holiday price is 10:30pm. After this time transport back to Chalet Gove is still available by taxi for an additional cost.

  • We have described everything as accurately as possible and will answer all questions honestly but cannot be held responsible if everything is not to your liking.

  • We cannot be held responsible for travel delays, the weather or ski / snow conditions.

  • We ask that any complaints are made straight away in person so that we can, where possible, rectify the situation.  We cannot deal with complaints after your departure.

  • No refund is available to any guest that decides not to partake of a prepaid meal.

  • We ask that all guests behave in a way that is respectful to all other guests and are understanding of each other’s differences and in no way cause any damage to the reputation of Chalet Gove.

  • We ask that any non-accidental breakage or damage caused is paid for at the time of the incident.
