WINTER PRICES

Prices are per person for 7 nights based on 2 adults sharing a room.

Groups booking the whole chalet i.e. a minimum of 8 adult bookings will receive a 5% discount on all adult prices.

Children under the age of 3 years sharing a room with 2 adults £45 a week.
Children 3 years and under 6 and sharing a room with 2 adults, £85 a week.
Children 6 years and under 16 and sharing with 2 adults, 50% of adult price.
Up to 4 Children under the age of 16 can occupy their own room for the price of 2 adults.

Deduct £30 from adult / child price if airport transfer is not required.

Winter Prices include:

  • Help & Advice to tailor the holiday to your requirements.
  • Ensuite room.
  • Continental breakfast on 7 days.
  • Afternoon cake on 7 days.
  • Complimentary tea & coffee available all day.
  • 3 course evening meal & wine on 6 days.
  • 5 course meal with champagne Christmas day and New Years Eve.
  • Airport transfer from and to Salzburg (please enquire about transfer to and from other airports).
  • Transport to and from the slopes on 7 days.
  • Organisation of ski/board lessons, passes and equipment.

SHORT BREAKS

We offer a short break package for only £350 that includes the following:
  • Transfer from and to Salzburg airport.
  • Transfer to and from the ski slopes each day.
  • En-suite room.
  • 3 day Lift pass.
  • 3 day ski / board and boot hire.
  • Continental breakfast each day.
  • Afternoon cake each day.
  • Complimentary tea, coffee and squash available all day.
  • 3 course meal & complimentary wine each evening.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

Please email your booking request or enquiry to maria@chaletgove.co.uk or alternatively call us on +43 (0)648 420 141.

Booking requests will be responded to confirming:
  • Dates and room(s) requested.
  • Provisional holding of room(s) for 7 days.
  • Deposit required to confirm the booking.
  • Date when outstanding balance is due.
A ‘Booking Details’ form will also be sent for you to detail all your specific requirements.
On receipt of your deposit a confirmation email and an invoice will be sent to the party leader and the ‘Terms & Conditions’ and ‘Cancellation Policy’ will come into effect.
A receipt will be sent once payment of the outstanding balance is received.

The following prices are just to give you an indication of what things cost and currently are based on the 2012/2013 ski season. All prices are in euros.

* Children 6 years and under ski free with an adult but do need to pay a small amount for a pass if having lessons.

**For beginners or those that do not want to ski all the time the Lungo ski region runs an excellent point card system which can prove very cost effective. Basically each lift is allocated a number of points, you buy a card containing say 50 points and then each time you use a lift the relevant number of points is deducted. The card is valid for 2 seasons.

Equipment

Week hire of skis, boots, poles and helmet approx 120 for adults and 35 to 65 for children depending on height.

Lessons

Again a variety of options available, standard lesson prices as follow:

Adult - 3 days of 4 hours a day 117 , 2 hours a day 98

Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes one person or more in a party may need to cancel their holiday and in return we ask that you understand that we are unlikely to fill a place at short notice and therefore the following cancellation policy applies:

Note: any money paid in advance for lift passes, equipment or airport transfer etc. will always be refunded.

Holiday cancelled (receipt date of your cancellation is when we receive your cancellation by email, phone or letter):

     Up to 8 weeks prior to start date of holiday     –   Deposit retained, all other money refunded.

     8 weeks or less prior to start date of holiday   –   50% of room & board price per person refunded.

     4 weeks or less prior to start date of holiday   –   25% of room & board price per person refunded.

     2 weeks or less prior to start date of holiday   –   No refund of room & board price per person.

If circumstances outside of our control mean that we have to cancel your booking with us, an alternate holiday date will be offered or all money including deposit will be refunded in full.

 We do advise that all party members take out a holiday / travel insurance to cover them for any cancellation costs.

 

Terms and Conditions

The Party Leader named on the Invoice is responsible for themselves and each member of their party and must ensure that everyone in the party has read these Terms and Conditions.

  1. A non refundable deposit per room is to be paid at the time of booking or full payment if booking is made within 8 weeks of the holiday start date.
  1. Full payment is to be made 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date . 
  1. If full payment is not received 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday we will take this to be a cancellation of your booking.
  1. Special diets can only be catered for if we are informed of these at the time of booking.
  1. Smoking is not allowed in any part of Chalet Gove including the garden. 
  1. Ski Schools, activity and equipment providers that we recommend and use are selected on experience, please note that we can not be held responsible for the quality of either.
  1. We have described everything as accurately as possible and will answer all questions honestly but can not be held responsible if everything is not to your liking.
  1. We can not be held responsible for travel delays, the weather or ski / snow conditions.
  1. We ask that any complaints are made straight away in person so that we can, where possible, rectify the situation.  We can not deal with complaints after your departure.
  1. No refund is available to any guest that decides not to partake of a prepaid meal.
  1. We ask that all guests behave in a way that is respectful to all other guests and are understanding of each other’s differences and in no way cause any damage to the reputation of Chalet Gove.

Insurance

  1. We advise that all guests have adequate travel / holiday insurance that covers them for the activities they are going to participate in, for example not all ski insurance covers you for tobogganing or off piste skiing.
  1. Please ensure that you have a European Health Insurance Card http://www.e111.org.uk/
  1. We can not accept liability for injury or death caused to a guest on any part of Chalet Gove, during transportation or whilst partaking in any activity.
  1. Any breakages or damage caused must be paid for at the time of the incident.
