HOW TO GET HERE

By air

There are flights from the UK to the airports of Salzburg and Klagenfurt in Austria. Both airports are approximately an hour and a half drive from Chalet Gove, the journey for the most part being motorway.

By car

Although we are in a village up a mountain valley, the roads to us are excellent , so driving to us is definitely an option for anyone that wants the freedom to explore all the wonderful areas in the Lungau region and beyond.

We are approximately 788 miles / 1240 km from Calais, a journey time of about 11.5 hours using the French, German and Austrian motorways (note Tolls apply on French and Austrian motorways).
