Step inside and immediately relax as we endeavour to make you feel at home and help you enjoy a wonderful holiday here in one of the sunniest and prettiest parts of Austria. We have four very spacious bedrooms with super en-suite bathrooms and a lovely lounge and dining room (see accommodation). We provide the catered chalet experience of breakfast, afternoon cake and evening meal with complimentary wine (not every night, as there are some great places for you to eat out at and you’ll be surprised at the very reasonable prices).
Step outside and breathe in the fresh clear air and decide what to do! You are at the start of numerous valley walks, mountain hikes, cycle rides or simply sit in the garden, sunbathe and take in the view. A few minutes ride down the valley and the range of summer activities open to you is endless.
The local castles and churches also have their own special events and concerts in addition to their daily opening to visitors.
For a more detailed list of what is available see our ‘Things to Do’ page.
For example every Wednesday evening in the main square of Tamsweg you can enjoy a traditional concert or the Z’sammsitz’n - tables and chairs and stalls are put out in the Square and families, friends and visitors can sit eat and drink and listen to traditional music. The stalls sell all sorts of local produce, food, drink and crafts are available to purchase and of course the stall holders serving food and drink will also serve you at your table. Local musicians and singers move around to entertain you.
Many of the alpine huts have their own cultural events serving local produce and providing entertainment for all ages and there are numerous other traditional festivals and events to enjoy.
